Attached is my drawing on apostolic succession. St. Peter, above, is looking down on a bishop (center) ordaining a young man (kneeling in front). St. Peter is identified by the keys in his hand, and the flame hovering over his head, symbolizing the presence of the Holy Spirit. The three are surrounded by darkness, but a light streams down from above, representing God's grace on the three of them and the flow of the apostolic succession from God, to St. Peter, through the Bishops (though only one is pictured), to the new priest.
